Marvel Studios’ Eternals is out with the final trailer on Thursday 19 August 2021. The movie will be released on big screens on 5 November 2021, whereas it will be available on Disney+ on 12 January 2022.

Directed by Chloé Zhao, the movie is about the titular beings who are immortals and have lived in secret on earth for 7000 years.

Eternals Trailer

Created by entities called Celestials, Eternals protect humans from their evil counterparts – the Deviants.

The movie answers the most asked question, “Why didn’t you guys help fight Thanos?”

In the trailer, the question is asked by Dane Whitman, a human, to his girlfriend Sersi. She replies, “We were instructed not to interfere in any human conflicts unless Deviants were involved”

Dane asks a follow-up question, “By who?”, and keeping the suspense alive, the trailer just shows a mammoth red Celestial.

Eternals is scheduled to be released in theaters on Nov. 5. A must-watch for Avengers lovers.

Eternals Movie Review

Eternals release on Nov 5th, 2021 worldwide has a runtime of 156 minutes.

The beginning of the film seems as if it’s some plot taken from the Bible which is giving an intro to Arishem; he is the one who brought light to this universe and created the Eternals and the Deviants.

Advancing further, the film revolves around 1000 years of human history; the Eternals first evolve 5000 B.C., in Mesopotamia.

The movie showcases 10 important characters. One can see 04 villains playing perpendicular to a love quadrangle. The best thing I found was the glaring costumes which seem exactly coherent with the character’s role. Just having a glance at the character would make a vivid picture of the character’s personality. This makes the setting of the movie peerless.

The way the Eternals have always been there in good or bad times for humankind, and their role is solely to defend humanity from the Deviants—they are forbidden to use their superpowers to intervene in human affairs. They believe in the principle of humanity first.

One undervalued aspect I found was the one with the on-screen intimate scene. This is Marvel’s first movie reflecting such a thing. I think this somewhat has polluted the movie. If they couldn’t have added that scene, definitely this movie would have been a good shot for the teenagers.

If you want your kid to watch this movie, recommendations would be that you sit with them and skip the illicit scene.

All in all, this doesn’t ever really feel like a Chloé Zhao movie.

Bell Bottom

The Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood has yet again taken a gamble by releasing its much-hyped blockbuster ‘Bell Bottom’ on big screens on 19th August 2021. Akshay Kumar has taken the risk of releasing the movie on big screens where few of the states have reopened theaters that too with only half of their capacity due to pandemics.

Bell Bottom directed by Ranjit Tiwari casts Akshay Kumar as a RAW agent, Vaani Kapoor plays the wife of Akshay while Huma Qureshi features as one of his team members. Lara Dutta is seen on the big screen after a gap and is almost unrecognizable in the movie as she portrays Ex Indian PM Indra Gandhi.

The thriller is based on true events of plane hijacking. In the movie, Akshay the RAW agent known by the code ‘BellBottom’ plans a daring covert operation to rescue 210 hostages and neutralize four hijackers.

The thriller is surely creating buzz around, however, it needs to be seen how much successful it would be to achieve collection targets. As per reports, on an opening day, it has collected 3 crores which are below par considering Bollywood pre-Covid standards but still a commendable effort during pandemic times.

Bell Bottom is the first film in the world to start and finish its shooting schedule during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.

Another exciting movie Sooryavanshi starring Akshay and Katrina is round the corner and maybe released soon, once the Covid situation stabilizes.
