Doctor Strange directed by Scott Derrickson, was released in 2016 and is based on MCU comics character Dr. Strange. Benedict Cumberbatch played Dr. Stephen Strange’s character in the movie.
He was an arrogant and acclaimed neurosurgeon who after a car crash severely got his hands injured. The accident weakened his hands and due to that, he was unable to perform any neurosurgeries for which he was arrogant.
He felt devastated and dejected, his girlfriend and fellow surgeon Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) tried to help him overcome the trauma but could not.
Modern medicine failed to heal Dr strange and therefore, he sought spiritual help in Nepal’s Kamar-Taj which was headed by Ancient One – the master of mystic powers.
At Kamar-Taj, Dr. Strange was mentored by Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a sorcerer under the Ancient One. Initially, Ancient One was skeptical of training Dr. Strange as he reminded her of Kaecilius who too was trained at the masters of mystic powers by Mordo and Ancient One but later betrayed.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Release Date
Doctor Strange was one of the huge MCU’s successes as it received an excellent rating and generated a good income. This ensured that Doctor Strange’s character could be made another franchise of Marvel similar to the Black Widow or Captain America.
After the first part of the movie, the fans were desperately waiting for the second part, and guess what? Marvel released a new trailer for the second part of the movie i.e. Doctor Strange 2 on 14th Feb and announced that the film is will be released on 6 May 2022.
The film could be watched worldwide in Theaters and the release date in each country may vary. The Director of the film is Sam Raimi while the Producer is Kevin Feige.
Leading Cast of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Benedict Cumberbatch is in the leading role and he plays Doctor Strange. Elizabeth Olsen who famously plays Wanda Maximoff in several Marvel movies is also part of the movie. Other major actors include Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

The trailer begins with Dr. Strange’s fearful eyes, he echos, “Every night, I dream the same dream. And then the nightmare begins. I did what I had to do, to protect our world.”
Wong appears in the next scene and proclaims “You cannot control everything, Strange, You opened a doorway between universes, and we don’t know who or what will walk through it.”
Strange asks Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) “Wanda, What do you know about the Multiverse?” Wanda replies, “Vis had his theories. He believed it was dangerous,” with Strange confirming, “He was right.”
The next scene shows Mordo professing, “I’m sorry, Stephen. Your desecration of reality will not go unpunished.”
Strange is the seen handcuffed, a mysterious voice states, “We should tell him the truth.” Then emboldened text – “Enter a New Dimension of Strange”, and Strange is seen falling and breaking to forces of the multiverse.
Strange announces, “Things just got out of hands”
Wanda complains, “You break the rules, and you become a hero, I do it, and I become the enemy. That doesn’t seem fair.”
Wong is seen encountering Gargntos who’s a look-alike of Shuma-Gorath.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Plot
By watching the first trailer of the movie, we couldn’t understand the plot and what is happening. However, after the release of the second trailer, we can see that Doctor Strange initiates a magical spell that makes a way to the multiverse.
However, things didn’t go as expected as a large threat emerges which becomes too cautious to be handled by Doctor Strange and other superheroes.
