Ek Villain Returns – The Hero vs Villain Faceoff
Who is the Real Villain?
“Action speaks louder than words”, with a story full of twists and turns, the action-packed crime thriller ‘Ek Villian Returns’ keeps you guessing whos more villainous; Arjun Kapoor or John Abraham?
The film Ek Villain returns is a sequel to the film Ek Villain that was released back in 2014. But this time plot is entirely different. Arjun Kapoor as Gautam Mehra is a rude rich brat who is brutal enough that he destroys the marriage function of his ex by creating scenes over there and beating up the guards.
An annoying thing occurs with him due to the chaos which forms the basis of the heinous serial killing act. A singer named Aarvi Malhotra uses the video of Gautam going destructive to make a parody song out of the bits. The video goes Viral leading to the meeting of Gautam and Aarvi.
Meanwhile, a few good things happen between them, making Aarvi fall in love with Gautam. However, ignorant of the fact that Gautam is after her for sharing the video clips to get famous, Aarvi is betrayed by him. After 6 months, a man in a mask comes, which is the same mask as was used by Ritesh Deshmukh in the first sequel back in 2014, and injures and kills guests at Aarvi’s house party.
The killer goes away leaving the suspicions that Arjun aka Gautam is the culprit or that another suspect Bhairav Purohit played by John Abraham is the one who did the criminal act. An important thing to mention here is that Bhairav is madly and deeply in love with Rasika Mapuskar played by Disha Patani. What happens next from the rest of the story of Ek Villian Returns?
The direction has done a fair job and Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham both have done well in terms of getting into the skin of the roles they were playing, this does sink into the suspense thriller.
Disha Patani looks absolutely amazing and stunning throughout the film. Tara has taken a Bindi attire, which is also getting praised by many. The songs of the film are alluring too.
