The trilogy series ‘Lord of the Rings‘ (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King) and ‘The Hobbit’ (An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug, The Battle of the Five Armies) needs no introduction as all of us have seen them during our childhood times.

Also, who can forget the characters such as Frodo Baggins aka Elijah Wood, Gandalf aka Ian McKellen, and Saruman aka Christopher Lee?

The last series was released long back, and the fans were anxiously waiting for the next one.

Amazon Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Amazon announced the release date of the first season of the ‘Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ as 2^nd, September 2022 in 240 territories of the world. Thereafter episodes will be streamed every week.

The series is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy novels ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’.

Surprisingly, this will be a series released by Amazon Prime that has a total budget of 1 billion dollars. This makes it the most expensive TV production ever. The series is produced by Ron Ames and Christopher Newman.

As Amazon bought the right for the series, it will be exclusively available on Prime Video, and the people that have the subscription can watch this amazing series easily. The first season of the series will have eight episodes in total filming of which took place in New Zealand, where the Lord of the Rings was produced.

The planning for season two is in progress and is expected to be filmed in the United Kingdom during the mid of the year 2022.

Lord of the Rings Cast

The series have included many superstars and our favorite actors. The leading actors include Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and Elrond (Robert Aramayo), Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry (The Child start from Mr. Bean Hoilday), Nazanin Boniadi, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Charles Edwards, Trystan Gravelle, Sir Lenny Henry, Ema Horvath, Joseph Mawle and a lot of other stars.

We can expect a lot from this amazing cast and hope that this series will be as much interesting as the previous parts.   

Lord of the Rings – Middle Earth Story

We can’t predict the actual plot or story of the series as only one trailer of the movie is out yet. Some more guesses could be made when there is another trailer or when the series is released. The trailers start by showing a waterside city of middle-earth, probably on the shore of Numenor’s Island Kingdom.

A voiceover of a teen girl is heard, saying “Have you ever wondered what else might be out there?”, in the next shot “nomadic hunters” were seen walking in the hills and she says, “There’s wonders in the world beyond our wondering.”

And then comes the young Galadriel hanging on the mountain holding the dagger. Thereafter, inscribed are’ before the King, before the Fellowship, and before the Ring, a new legend begins this fall, which means that before the trilogy of Lord of the Rings stories, ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ happened on middle earth. In the background, a glimpse of various characters is shown   

By watching just, a minute of the teaser, for now, we can predict that the series will be all about the fighting between the Sauron forces and the Elves. The battles will be decisive and will decide the fate of middle earth.

The proper reviews aren’t there yet as the series is to be released, but for the trailer, the people were filled with joy and tears. The fans are excited and given positive remarks about the trailer.
