After losing the toss SRH was put on to bat first, SRH finished the innings at 141-7 after 20 overs.

With Glenn Maxwell in the middle the chances of getting the score seemed to be bright, both Paddikal and Maxwell completed 50 runs partnership in the 13th over, RCB was 86-3 after 13 overs.
